Welcome! We are two “fifty-somethings” (early, early fifties!) who are turning our lake house into our Forever Home. We hope to take it from a Cabin-style home, complete with wood walls, wood floors, wood exterior, to a Craftsman-style home, which is something we both have always gravitated to. We fancy ourselves as seasoned DIYers, having installed floors, renovated our kitchen, installed tile, painted (and painted and painted), and not been afraid to take on almost any project. We do know our limits. We have hired a contractor to get this party started.
We hope you enjoy our journey. After years of watching HGTV, reading thousands home improvement magazines, and amassing our own library of do it yourself books, we are ready to take off!
